Meet the Team at Swansea Family Dental

Swansea Family Dental first opened its doors in 2005 and has since been treating patients around the Swansea, Belmont, Caves Beach and greater Newcastle areas. New owners took over the practice in January 2013, and a fresh team of dentists has arrived. They make a promise to all patients to work hard to meet your needs in the best possible way.

Our mission is to provide the best possible dental care while ensuring we treat you like family. Your smile is our priority. Our team will look after your comfort, health, cosmetic appeal and satisfaction.

We look forward to showing you the new face of dentistry. Take a moment to get to know our dentists and staff by reading through the biographies below.

Dr Ricardo Paez

Dr Ricardo Paez graduated from Central University of Venezuela in 2005. He worked in both the public and the private sector for two years before migrating to Australia in 2007.

In 2008, he finished his degree accreditation through the Australian Dental Council and immediately moved to Newcastle.

He belongs to various study groups and regularly attends seminars on most aspects of dentistry to remain up-to-date with the latest developments. He focuses on cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, performing high-quality work with his state-of-the-art CEREC machine, being able to offer same-day crowns, onlays and bridges with minimal intervention. Dr Paez is a Digital Smile Design Master, designing beautiful smiles for our patients.

He also has a passion for realigning and straighten teeth so he can restore his patients' smiles using Invisalign, giving them back their confidence and happiness through their smiles.

Dr Ricardo Paez believes in treating every single patient as if they were his own family. With a gentle approach and a passion for cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, he is confident that he can change people's view on their dental experience.
